We are a subcontractor to GRS Construction from Columbia, IL doing the steel stud framing and sheathing on this project.

St. Joseph’s Hospital- Highland, IL
May 15, 2012George Weis Company is teaming with McCarthy Building Companies of St. Louis, MO to begin construction on St. Josephs’s Hospital in Highland, IL.
This new replacement hospital will be a 68,000 square ft, 25 bed Critical Access Hospital on a 50 acre site with planning elements for future expansion. The scope of work for George Weis Company will include metal trusses, steel stud framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, spray fireproofing, fire stopping, insulation, and fluid applied air barrier.
The new St. Joseph’s Hospital is scheduled to receive its first patients in Summer 2013. St. Joseph’s Hospital, an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System, provides care to more than 35,000 residents of Madison, Clinton and Bond counties- serving that area for more than 134 years.
Exterior EIFS Restoration complete on Renaissance Hotel in downtown St. Louis.

Exterior EIFS Restoration is complete on the historic Renaissance Grand Hotel at 800 Washington Avenue.
George Weis Company worked with ISC Contracting to repair exterior storm damage. Damaged stucco was removed, new structural framing was first added, followed by the installation of sheathing and EIFS by ‘Dryvit’ to match existing historic building.
