Regions Bank Arnold, MO – EIFS Plastering Contractor
July 24, 2015George Weis Company is beginning construction for Musick Construction on the new Regions bank being built in Arnold, MO. Our work includes the steel stud framing of exterior and interior walls, drywall, taping, insulation and installing the Dryvit EIFS system (plaster) over plywood sheathing. Work is well underway and the structural steel is nearly complete.
St. Louis County Library – Grant’s View Branch
May 19, 2015George Weis Company has been selected as the drywall and plastering (EIFS) contractor for the new Grant’s View Library located on Musick Avenue in St. Louis, MO. We will be working with the construction manager, SM Wilson, and the St Louis County Library to construct the eagerly awaited Grant’s View Library Branch. Our work includes the steel studs, exterior sheathing, EIFS (plaster), insulation, drywall, and taping.
Lucky’s Market, St Louis, MO – Steel Studs and Plastering (EIFS) Commences
April 7, 2015George Weis Company is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by Holland Construction Services as the drywall and plastering (EIFS) contractor for the Lucky’s Market project. Our work includes the steel stud framing of exterior walls and installing the STO EIFS system (plaster) over Densglass sheathing. Work is well underway and the exterior walls are complete. FNB Steeleville – EIFS Contractor Steeleville, IL
January 23, 2015George Weis Company was chosen as the EIFS plastering contractor to install EIFS (Dryvit), steel stud framing, sheathing, drywall, taping, plastering, acoustical ceilings (drop ceilings), and insulation by LaMacchia Group out of Wisconsin on the new First National Bank of Steeleville project in Steeleville, IL.
Work is currently underway and is scheduled to be complete in 2016.
Touchette Hospital Plastering Contractor
January 16, 2015George Weis Company was chosen as the EIFS plastering contractor to install EIFS (Dryvit) as well as the steel stud framing, sheathing, drywall, and insulation on a the Touchette Hospital addition/renovation in East St. Louis, IL by Holland Construction.
Project is currently underway and is schedule to be complete in 2016.
Pinckneyville Hospital EIFS Continues
November 13, 2014George Weis Company was selected by Robins and Morton as the EIFS (plastering) contractor along with the framing, drywall, taping, insulating, and acoustical drop ceilings contractor on new 80,000 SF plus Pinckneyville Hospital building.
EIFS on the project has came to a halt with the cold weather however George Weis Company was able to beat the scheduled duration for the system by weeks allowing the building to be sealed sooner.
EIFS (Stucco)in Ballwin, MO – Gordon Foods Begins
August 25, 2014George Weis Company is working with Holland Construction Services as the plastering and drywall contractor on the new Gordon Foods project near St. Louis, MO. The existing building is being retrofitted with a new EIFS cladding over the existing brick and CMU. Along with the plastering EIFS we are installing drywall, steel studs, taping, and acoustical ceilings (drop ceiling).
Troy, IL Residence Pool House EIFS Plastering Contractor
June 20, 2014George Weis Company was chosen as the EIFS plastering contractor to install EIFS (Dryvit) on a pool house and patio addition. With a new stone fireplace and exposed wood beams combined with EIFS the project turned out very well.
We have completed quite a few pool houses completing everything from the ground up or just being the plastering contractor on the project ranging anywhere from Troy, IL to St. Louis, MO.
Casey’s General Store in Troy, IL- EIFS (Stucco) and Drywall Job Begins
February 25, 2014George Weis Company is working together with Kinney Contracting as the drywall contractor to install the drywall and taping of the new Casey’s General Store in Troy, IL, conveniently located right off Interstate 55 on Edwardsville Road. Our scope of the project began at the start of February and is expected to be completed mid-March pending the harsh winter weather.
Additional to the drywall and taping Weis will also be working with TCT Construction as the plastering contractor to perform the EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finish System) of the exterior facade of the new Casey’s General Store in Troy, IL. Weis will be using Senergy to create a unique, cosmetic exterior appeal with its architectural detailing while maintaining an energy efficient building.
Expansion at Zion Lutheran in St. Charles, MO
February 20, 2014George Weis Company has been recently paired with Ben Hur Construction as the plastering contractor and drywall contractor to improve and expand upon the existing Zion Lutheran School in St. Charles, MO. The addition will consist of a seven-classroom Early Childhood Center along with the addition of a Commons Area. Weis will be responsible for the exterior and interior steel stud framing, drywall, taping, EIFS (Exterior Insulation Finishing System or Dryvit), and acoustical ceilings. Despite the harsh wintery weather conditions, the determined carpenters of Weis have currently began the construction of the exterior framing and sheathing and Tyvek. The installation of the EIFS will soon follow. Zion Lutheran’s vision of a newly expanded school is expected to reach completion in Summer of 2014.
