Oak Hill Assisted Living Complete
May 30, 2017We have recently completed the new Oak Hill assisted living addition project in Waterloo, IL. Our scope of work as a subcontractor to Holland Construction included the metal stud framing, drywall, taping, EIFS (Dryvit), and acoustical ceilings. See below for pictures of the project.



St. Elizabeth’s Hospital – O’Fallon, IL – Work Continues
December 7, 2016We’ve been working closely with the Alberici-Holland Joint Venture team in completing the state of the art 144 bed new replacement hospital in O’Fallon, IL at lightning speed. EIFS has not started but framing of walls and ceilings along with drywall and taping is well underway on all six floors.
All ~105ea prefabricated bathrooms units were completed in a nearby warehouse and installed in the building.



Davita Dialysis – Nichiha and EIFS
December 1, 2016We have recently completed the shell building for the new Davita Dialysis on Natural Bridge Road in St. Louis, MO. Our scope of work included the metal stud framing, taping, insulation, EIFS (Dryvit), and Nichiha panels. See below for pictures of the EIFS and Nichiha.


EIFS Completed on Fazoli’s Mt. Vernon, IL
November 29, 2016Fazoli’s in Mt. Vernon, IL has completed upgrading the exterior of the building with EIFS to ensure the customer experience is the best that it can be, according to the chain’s president. We worked closely with general contractor ACT Construction to get the EIFS completed within the very short schedule on the project. The building is almost unrecognizable from before and turned out great, see attached before and after pictures.










EIFS Completed on Kellison Elementary in Fenton, MO
November 21, 2016With an extremely short schedule and large amount of work, we were selected to be the plastering contractor on the project with the general contractor Hoff Construction in order to have the new EIFS (Dryvit) cladding over the existing building completed in time for school to open. The new EIFS cladding was installed over the existing metal panels and will decrease the amount of energy needed to heat and cool the building as well as update the look of the school.
Veneer Plaster – Sugar Creek Fire Department – Trenton, IL
November 21, 2016The Sugar Creek Fire Department in Trenton, IL needed to add additional room for trucks and equipment so they built a spacious 4,200 SF addition. We worked closely with the general contractor as the drywall and plastering contractor for the project. Due it’s durability, speed and many other benefits, sand finish veneer plaster was used on all the walls and ceilings.



Wayne City, IL Pre K-12 School nears completion of Plastering and EIFS
March 22, 2016We’re working with Holland Construction Services on the new 105,000 SF $6.9 million Wayne City, IL Pre K-12 school which will be completed at the end of the summer. The acoustical ceilings are currently being installed along with finishing up the veneer plaster on the project. Due to the very high durability, aesthetic appeal, scheduling advantages and many other benefits, the majority of the school is finished with veneer plaster. Being the plastering contractor on the project we are also installing Dryvit EIFS on the exterior canopies.




St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Begins – O’fallon, IL
March 15, 2016George Weis Company was selected to work with the Alberici-Holland joint venture to build the new St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL as the interior finishes contractor. Scope of work includes interior and exterior steel stud framing, drywall, taping, radiation protection, sound and thermal insulation, misc. rough carpentry work, and Dryvit (EIFS Plastering).


First National Bank Steeleville Complete
February 8, 2016First National Bank of Steeleville’s new building is complete. George Weis Company’s scope of work consisted of steel stud framing, drywall, finish taping, exterior continuous insulation sheathing and air barrier, insulation, acoustical ceilings.




St Louis County Library – Jamestown Bluffs Branch
February 5, 2016Moving on to our next library renovation, the Jamestown Bluffs branch is now complete and open to the public! This particular branch features many radius walls in the interior as well as heavy gauge stud framing for new window openings at the exterior of the building. The finished product, as seen in the pictures below, is a beautiful, bright, and modern library. In addition, we applied a new Direct Applied Finish System (EIFS) at the entrance soffit.
