BMW Autohaus St. Louis – Hunter Douglas Specialty Ceilings, Drywall, and EIFS (Dryvit)
February 19, 2020George Weis Company is pleased to announce the completion of the BMW Autohaus renovation and addition. Our work included the steel studs, drywall, taping, EIFS (Dryvit) and specialty ceilings. The 4’x4′ ceiling in the main area is Hunter Douglas Techstyle which is pictured below. Also pictured is the Hunter Douglas 300C Linear Metal Ceiling which was installed in the Service Area.
Plaster Cornice Repair – Ladue, MO and Swansea, IL
December 13, 2019As the stucco contractor and plastering contractor for home owners, we completed two jobs recently in Ladue, MO and Swansea, IL repairing older plaster cornices that were damaged from water and they turned out great. We finished one ceiling with a sand finish swirl pattern.
Mt. Vernon IL – Health Clinic Completed with Wood Ceiling by 9 Wood
November 21, 2019We were selected as the drywall contractor and acoustical ceiling contractor on this project in Mt. Vernon, IL. It had very intricate curved drywall soffits and a waved wood ceiling (by 9 Wood https://www.9wood.com/) which turned out extremely well and our very proud of our carpenters and tapers.
EIFS (Stucco) Repair Completed in Bethalto, IL
September 30, 2019As the plastering contractor and EIFS contractor on the project, we were asked to consult on how to fix the damaged EIFS Dryvit facade on a building in Bethalto, IL. After thoroughly cleaning and re coating the finish, the building looks better then new and is water tight. Below are a few before and after pictures.

Wood Grille Ceiling (by Armstrong) Nears Completion near Shiloh, IL
September 20, 2019We recently completed a wood slat ceiling as the acoustical ceiling contractor on the project made by Armstrong called Woodworks Grille. The pictures were before the room was completed but help show what can be done to improve the look of a room by upgrading from standard ceilings. (unfortunately pictures don’t do it justice)
Damaged Canopy – EIFS repair in Arnold MO
June 10, 2019Similar to many times before, a large truck ran into a canopy overhang which damaged the EIFS (Dryvit) on the wall as well as the framing, drywall, taping and painting on the inside of the building.
The damage to the EIFS (Dryvit) was extensive but as the selected plastering contractor we managed to repair it to look like new on the Harbor Freight building in Arnold, MO.

Frontenac, MO – 2021 S. Lindbergh EIFS nears completion
May 31, 2019We’re nearly complete with the EIFS cornice around the top of the 2021 S. Lindbergh project. Despite our plasterers being 50′ off the ground in a articulating boom lift, the EIFS cornice is looking great so far. George Weis is the plastering contractor on the project also including steel stud framing, drywall and taping.
Plaster Work with Wood Lath – Webster Groves, MO Residence
January 4, 2019After some severe water damaged we were asked to be the plastering contractor and drywall contractor to repair the original wood lath and smooth plaster up to the cornices on this residence in Webster Groves, MO. Before Pictures below, unfortunately we weren’t able to take after pictures when it was completed but it turned out great!
Load Bearing Steel Stud Framing and Drywall Contractor – Edwardsville, IL
October 17, 2018AMC Theater is remodeling an auditorium in Edwardsville, IL and we were selected by A.R. Mays Construction as the carpentry and drywall contractor to install the new load bearing steel stud risers and stairs, metal decking, plywood, drywall, taping and acoustical ceilings. With an extremely aggressive schedule and acoustical standards the project is very unique.
