Wood Grille Ceiling (by Armstrong) Nears Completion near Shiloh, IL
September 20, 2019We recently completed a wood slat ceiling as the acoustical ceiling contractor on the project made by Armstrong called Woodworks Grille. Damaged Canopy – EIFS repair in Arnold MO
June 10, 2019Similar to many times before, a large truck ran into a canopy overhang which damaged the EIFS (Dryvit) on the wall as well as the framing, drywall, taping and painting on the inside of the building.
The damage to the EIFS (Dryvit) was extensive but as the selected plastering contractor we managed to repair it to look like new on the Harbor Freight building in Arnold, MO.

Frontenac, MO – 2021 S. Lindbergh EIFS nears completion
May 31, 2019We’re nearly complete with the EIFS cornice around the top of the 2021 S. Lindbergh project. Despite our plasterers being 50′ off the ground in a articulating boom lift, the EIFS cornice is looking great so far. George Weis is the plastering contractor on the project also including steel stud framing, drywall and taping.
Plaster Work with Wood Lath – Webster Groves, MO Residence
January 4, 2019After some severe water damaged we were asked to be the plastering contractor and drywall contractor to repair the original wood lath and smooth plaster up to the cornices on this residence in Webster Groves, MO. Load Bearing Steel Stud Framing and Drywall Contractor – Edwardsville, IL
October 17, 2018AMC Theater is remodeling an auditorium in Edwardsville, IL and we were selected by A.R. Mays Construction as the carpentry and drywall contractor to install the new load bearing steel stud risers and stairs, metal decking, plywood, drywall, taping and acoustical ceilings. With an extremely aggressive schedule and acoustical standards the project is very unique.
Nichiha Fiber Cement Board Siding and Fluid Applied Air Barrier – Arnold, MO
October 12, 2018Five Star Auto Body in Arnold, MO is constructing a new building with United Construction as the general contractor. This auto body shop is not a typical auto body shop building. The front facade is Nichiha fiber cement board siding over steel studs with sheathing and a fluid applied air barrier. It’s elegant design, high end finishes, and extremely high quality standards make this building similar to a new luxury car dealership. We were chosen by United Construction to install the Nichiha and drainage barrier on the building along with the structural steel stud framing, drywall, taping, insulation, and acoustical ceilings. We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of craftsmanship from our carpenters and drywall finishers.

Plastering and Lathe Contractor – Collinsville, IL
June 22, 2018We were selected as the plastering, steel studs, lathe, and acoustical ceilings contractor on the project by general contractor Morrissey Construction on the Madison County House Authority building. The existing wood structure is being remodeled and we’re repairing all the existing sand finish textured plaster on the walls and ceilings along with all the new walls and ceilings. After the plaster and plasterboard repair is complete, the existing repaired walls will look just like new.
Terracotta Baguette Installation Near Complete – St. Louis, MO
June 15, 2018Update 8/17/20 – Project was featured on NBK website.
We were selected by Clayco and Washington Univeristy as the terracotta baguette installer on the new parking garage at 560 Trinity Avenue St. Louis, MO near Coca Center of Creative Arts.
The baguettes, manufactured by NBK, transformed the rough looking all concrete garage into a modern looking structure that blends in beautifully with the surrounding area. We’re extremely grateful to Clayco and Washington University for selecting us to be the baguette installer on this very unique and extremely fast paced project. Terracotta Installation Nears Completion
June 13, 2018We’re near 100% complete on the Ladue Horton Watkins School addition project working with SM Wilson as the terracotta contractor.
Now that the terracotta (manufactured by NBK) and all adjacent material is installed, the finished exterior building facade looks even better then we all could have imagined.
We’re very grateful to have been selected by SM Wilson and the school district on another project. Especially one as unique as this one.
